What is a corporate home in Johannesburg?

A corporate home is a house, cottage or apartment rented by an international professional or relocating family who has moved to Johannesburg for work. I choose each one for its location and how easily you can settle in, so you arrive to a proper home rather than a hotel room.

How long can I rent a corporate home for?

Anything from a single night to a five-year family posting. Short stays like Central Parkhurst are available by the night or by the month. Cottages suit stays of a few months to a full year. Family homes such as the Westcliff Farmhouse are available as longer-term rentals.

Are the homes furnished?

Some are. Both Parkhurst short stays come furnished, so you can arrive with suitcases and start living straight away. Longer-term family homes vary, so tell me whether you are shipping furniture and I will only show you homes that fit.

How much does it cost to rent a corporate home in Johannesburg?

It depends on the home and how long you stay. As a guide, Central Parkhurst costs R2,975 a night or R33,000 a month. The Parkhurst Launch Pad is R4,500 a night. The Westcliff Farmhouse rents for R109,000 a month.

Which areas do you cover?

The homes available right now are in Parkhurst and Westcliff. I also source homes across Johannesburg, plus second homes in the bush, on the coast, in the Winelands and on farms across South Africa.

Do you work with companies and relocation providers?

Yes. I find homes for relocating families and for the companies that move them, and I work alongside corporate partners and relocation professionals. Your employee deals with one person who knows the home, the street and the school run.

How do I view the private collection?

Apply to view it. Some homes are shared publicly, while others are only introduced privately to qualified buyers, so I ask a few questions first.
